Definition
A 3-digit credit score from 300 to 900 issued by TransUnion CIBIL that summarises an individual's credit history.A CIBIL score is a three-digit number between 300 and 900 calculated by TransUnion CIBIL from a person's credit history — repayment record, credit utilisation, age and mix of credit, and recent enquiries. Lenders use it as a quick gauge of credit risk; a higher score generally indicates lower risk. It is one of four RBI-licensed credit bureau scores in India.
