Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters to us, and we'd rather know when we get something wrong. This page explains how to report an error and what happens next.

How to report an error

Use our contact form and choose "Error report" as the subject. Please include the page, the specific detail you believe is wrong, and — if you have it — a source. The more precise the report, the faster we can act.

How we handle corrections

We aim to acknowledge error reports within one business day and to triage them promptly. Verified errors are corrected as quickly as the issue warrants — urgent factual errors first. Where a correction is material, we note it on the page and update the "last updated" date.

Our commitments

We re-stamp the "last updated" date only when a genuine change is made, we cite primary sources for the figures we publish, and we keep an internal log of material corrections. Independence and accuracy are part of the same promise: information you can trust and verify.
