Editorial Policy
This policy explains how content on Tips4Banking is created, reviewed and kept independent. It applies to every page we publish.
Independence
We rate and rank by what is best for the reader. No commercial relationship influences our content, ratings or rankings. Tips4Banking does not currently run advertising, affiliate or lead-generation programmes; if that ever changes, any commercial unit will be clearly labelled and will never alter our independent assessments.
Sourcing & accuracy
We rely on primary sources — the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), SEBI, IRDAI, NPCI, DICGC, the Income-tax Department and official provider documents. Factual figures (rates, limits, thresholds) carry an "as of" date and a source, and example figures are clearly labelled as examples. We do not publish live or outdated rates as if they were guaranteed.
Authors & reviewers
Money topics ("Your Money or Your Life" content) are written by named authors and signed off by a credentialed reviewer (such as a CA or Certified Financial Planner). Author and reviewer names, credentials and the review date appear on the page.
Use of AI
We may use AI tools to assist research and drafting, but a named human author owns, edits and is accountable for every published page, and a human reviewer verifies money content. We do not publish unedited AI-generated articles.
Updates
We review content as rules and rates change and re-stamp the "last updated" date only when a genuine update is made. Our process for fixing errors is set out in our Corrections Policy.
Not advice
Our content is general information and education. It is not personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Readers should verify current terms with the provider and consult a qualified professional for their situation.
